Databases

  • Computer Science - Browse more than 600 journals and periodicals, providing information on computer-related product introductions, news and reviews in areas such as hardware, software, electronics, engineering, communications, and the application of technology.

  • ScienceDirect - Discover ebooks and peer-reviewed journals in the areas of physical sciences and engineering, life sciences, health sciences, and social sciences and humanities. It contains indexing, abstracts, and tables of contents for over 2,500 journals and over 35,000 ebooks.

  • Defense Technical Information Center - Citations to unclassified documents in DTIC's Technical Reports Collection, many with full text.

  • IEEE Xplore - Provides full-text access to IEEE transactions, journals, magazines, conference proceedings, and standards.
  • SPIE Digital Library - Users will find access to journals, conference proceedings, e-books, and technical papers. Content spans a wide range of applied optics and photonics science and engineering topics.

  • Scitation - Portal to journals published and distributed by the American Institute of Physics and its member societies. Covers physics, astronomy, electronics, engineering, materials science, mathematics and associated disciplines. We subscribe to only some of the titles in this database.

Reference

  • AccessEngineering - Discover a regularly updated engineering reference tool for professionals, academics, and students. Features include instructional faculty made videos, calculators, interactive tables and charts. This resource also contains personalization tools that allow users to organize crucial project information as they work.
  • Knovel - Contains online monographs and reference books in many areas of science and engineering. It can be used early in the research process to become aware of general safety information for particular activities, processes, and substances, as well as later in research to learn more specifics about substances. Included are interactive tools that normalize information across content sources and bring content to life by making tables, charts, equations, plotters and graphs interactive.
