TINY ART SHOW!

Calling All Cadet Artists: The USMA Library invites you to submit your original art on a small canvas!

This is open to all cadets at any skill level. The library will provide a kit with all the supplies you will need: a 4” x 4” canvas, paints, a palette, and brushes. Simply pick up your kit at the library and start painting. No entry fee, no need to buy supplies. Bring your canvas back to the library by 19 October. It is that easy!

We will display all submitted artwork in a curated “Magnificent Miniatures" Exhibit, which will kick off with an unveiling on 23 October at 1900. The Exhibit will run until the end of the semester.

There are two categories for the submitted art. You are welcome to submit any style for your painting (landscape, still life, abstract, realism, pop art, etc.) and you can paint any subject. In addition, this year's art show has a special call for art that is “Inspired by West Point”.

There will be one Best in Show winner and one Inspired by West Point winner. Winners will be selected by blind vote and will be recognized on 16 November.

Pick up your art kit today at the Front Desk of the Library today! Return all painted canvases to the library by 19 October.
